Natasha Fuksina, M.D., a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician, is a graduate of New York University and Albany Medical College. Dr. Fuksina combines traditional and innovative approaches in her medical practice.
Dr. Natasha Fuksina was raised in a family of physicians, dentists and scientists. From a young age, she knew her passion was to be in clinical medicine. She shadowed her father who was making rounds in the ICU and her mother in her biochemistry research lab.
Nowadays, in her practice, she utilizes an Integrative Internal Medicine approach by finding underlying reasons for a particular disease process and using traditional and functional medicine recommendations to restore health and function.
In such a personalized approach, the focus is on the individual patient as well as his/her metabolism and genetic make up, which leads to a unique custom-tailored approach geared to reverse or improve current conditions and prevent functional deterioration.
Advanced metabolic, genetic, food sensitivity testing, and body composition analysis are used along with conventional laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Dr. Natasha Fuksina’s goal is to help her patients reach their personal healthy best, and in some cases to help them defy their genes by modifying the expression of unhealthy genes they are carrying.
When not working or attending medical conferences, she spends her time with her husband and two children, making sure she passes on the love of lifetime learning to her kids. Although trained in classical piano for eight years, she passionately enjoys any song or dance with Latin or tango rhythm.
She speaks fluent Spanish and Russian, which helps her establish a special bond with her non-English speaking patients.
